Fabrication application
Customer forwarded a drawing for fabrication of a ¼" thick Al Alloy fabricated assembly. The small assembly had 54" linear welds due to the fabrication method selected.
Reviewed customer's operational requirements and material selection process. Arrived at a fabrication solution that reduced the linear welds down to 4" changed the material to 16 gauge stainless steel and reduced assembly weight by 25%.
